Elderberry Inn Bed and Breakfast was envisioned when Carolyn, the Innkeeper, was going through a life transition. Her niece, an experienced Bed and Breakfast guest suggested Carolyn's home would make an excellent B&B with its wooded tranquil setting on the edge of Forest City. Carolyn had found her home to be a wonderful sanctuary after working long days as a professional. Her niece also reflected, "Your home feels like a safe haven." The home was designed and built by Carolyn and her family 32 years ago.
In designing the Inn, Carolyn wanted to offer her guests fine lodging for a quiet time to reflect, a romantic stay, or a retreat from everyday challenges. The Inn offers two suites with private baths, double whirl pools, and fireplace. It is a wonderful place to relax, reflect, restore, or refresh your body and soul. Elderberry Inn is a great setting for a spiritual retreat with friends, family, or a small church group. The Inn lends itself to space for discussion, and times of meditation. Guests often comment on peacefulness the Inn offers.
